I remember seeing a good thing on him on ESPN a little while back, I can't give many exact details but it seems as though he has repeatedly beaten the odds his whole life to succeed the way he has....

Juan Dixon grew up in Baltimore Maryland. Both his parents died due to cocaine addiction when he was a teenager, his brother Phil raised him. Dixon was considered to short and skinny to play major college basketball by most. Maryland was the only ACC school to recruit Dixon, and thats where he went. I think the rest is pretty much common knowledge, I respect him because where he came from and what he accomplished. He never gave up and it shows to this day Dixon has the will to win. Thats the short version, I can probably find some old articles on Dixon and his life on the net if you want to read more. Dixon is truly a great guy and has overcame a lot to be where he is. I got the opportunity to meat him one night down in Winston Salem in 2002 when Maryland was making their run to the national title, before the game he was signing autographs for everybody. Even Wake Forest fans were going up to Dixon to get his autograph. Sports would be a lot better off with more Juan Dixons.

William Jefferson Clinton. the best President of my lifetime. He took on the radical right for 8 years when tried for 8 years to bring down our legitimately elected leader. presided over amazing economic growth due to his courage in helping pass the 1993 budget plan, and initiated welfare reform.
